GLOBAL
DOW JONES SUSTAINABILITY INDEX PLACES ENAEX IN THE TOP 10% OF THE MOST SUSTAINABLE COMPANIES IN THE INDUSTRY
For the sixth consecutive year, Enaex was included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), which measures the performance of companies under environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria; and for the second year, as part of the Mila Pacific Alliance.
The company scored 67 points and 91% percentile – improving from 83% in 2020 -, placing it in the top 10% of companies with the best sustainability management in the industry. These results are aligned with Enaex’s values and objectives, such as the integral development of the communities where we operate, environmental awareness, and responsible and sustainable business management.
This index was born in 1999 after the request of the New York Stock Exchange to evaluate non-financial issues of the leading companies of Dow Jones. Currently, more than 3400 companies from around the world participate, making it the most prestigious indicator of sustainability.

CHILE
ENAEX CORE: INCREASING CUSTOMER PRODUCTIVITY AND HUMANIZING THE MINING INDUSTRY
With our purpose of Humanizing mining and the objective of continuing to improve the living conditions of our collaborators and the Experience of our clients, a remote blasting engineering service has been implemented.
The main benefits for our clients, among others, are:

We have 2 HUBs (Remote Engineering Centers) installed in Enaex’s offices with the best standards for the fulfillment of what has been agreed with the client. Today we have this service for different clients: Santiago and Antofagasta.
Collahuasi: Testing period at the beginning of 2021, and entry into operation in October of this year.
Zaldívar: Testing period during August, 2021.
Centinela: Expected to start testing period during Q1 2022.
What’s next for 2022? Once the results of Collahuasi, Zaldívar and Centinela have been validated, possible sites and synergies will be evaluated for an optimized scale-up.

ENAEX BRAZIL AGAIN AMONG THE BEST COMPANIES IN BRAZIL
This news comes from the latest report of Época Negócios 360º, a yearbook of the best companies in the country prepared by Época magazine in partnership with Dom Cabral foundation. This year, Enaex Brazil is among the 10 best companies in the chemical and petrochemical sector, and occupies the 135th position in the general ranking of the 300 best companies in the country, from 27 sectors of the economy.
The ranking is established based on extensive research and data analysis about what Brazilian companies have done in the pursuit of excellence, considering six indicators: financial performance, corporate governance, innovation, future vision, people management, and sustainability.
In 2021, Enaex Brazil obtained the best result from the six years the company has been in the ranking, thus confirming that achieving our goals is each day closer. Working with people who are committed to corporate values and who, on a daily basis, contribute to our constant evolution and development made this achievement possible.
FRANCE
DAVEY BICKFORD ENAEX/ENAEX EUROPE & CIS MAKE DONATION TO HOME FOR THE ELDERLY
In order to contribute to the recovery of 36 adults with disabilities, Davey Bickford Enaex/Enaex Europe & Cis made a monetary donation to the EPNAK home in Augy (France) for the remodeling of its educational farm.
This facility uses this farm as a form of treatment, thanks to the interaction with the animals. The renovation of this space involves improving the habitat of the current animals.
PERU
FIRST BLASTING CONDUCTED WITH EMULTEX PDBG PUMPABLE EMULSION CHARGE.
Silver X Mining conducted on November 19, in conjunction with Enaex Peru, the first blasting with EMULTEX PDBG emulsion. This was done as part of the development of its underground mine infrastructure in the exploitation of potentially economic polymetallic silver mineralization at its Tangana Mining Unit,
This achievement is Enaex Peru’s first successful EMULTEX PDBG pumpable bulk emulsion blasting experience, conducted with the first UBT XS equipment in an underground operation in Peru in conjunction with the client. This meant less charging time, less post-blasting gas ventilation time, 100% linear advance, control of overburning, reduction of fragmentation and steel costs and increased productivity.
All this leads to the optimization of the client’s operational processes as well as the development of safety management, implementing innovation and technological development in its operations.
This beginning of Enaex Peru’s pumpable emulsion technology contributes to the mechanization of the loading process for underground mining in Peru, making us the solution partner for our clients.

ENAEX BRAZIL HOLDS ANOTHER EDITION OF THE AWARD “BEST BLASTING”
The award is an initiative by Enaex Brazil. It seeks to recognize, value, and reward the field teams that stood out during the year. The recognition considers excellence, safety, innovation, and the results obtained in each blasting operation with exceptional value added, generating stronger bonds with our customers.
The 2020 highlights were revealed during an online event, held in September 2021, attended by VP Latam East & North America, Antonio Cyrino de Sá, representatives from the Commercial and Operations areas of Enaex Brazil, and some winning customers. A total of eight teams were awarded, one in each category:

FRANCE
FAMILY DAY AT HÉRY PLANT
During October, Davey Bickford Enaex / Enaex Europe & CIS celebrated a family day at Héry Plant, with more than 260 visitors divided into 19 groups that visited the facilities of the production plant.
In total, there were 40 volunteers who toured the complex where they offered different workshops, presented new technologies, among other activities. At the end of the tour there was a cocktail party organized by the representative committee of collaborators.
PERU
NIGHT LOADING AT CONSTANCIA - HUDBAY MINERALS
For the last 3 months Hudbay Minerals – Constancia has been implementing night-time mechanized loading of drills. This opportunity arose from the client’s need to maintain the stock of broken material (700,000 MT) in the night shift in the rainy and thunderstorm season (October to April) on the basis of firing the same number of drills as in the dry season (winter, or absence of rain from May to September) with the difference of not carrying out advance loading of drills as is done in the winter season, thus avoiding generating an unsafe condition by leaving our detonators exposed to weather conditions.
