BRAZIL
ENAEX BRAZIL HOLDS END-OF-YEAR LIVE EVENT FOR ITS COLLABORATORS
In December, Enaex Brazil held an end-of-year online event for its collaborators. It had the participation of collaborators from the entire country, whose main focus was to strengthen our culture, especially the concept of Stronger Bonds.
The agenda included homage to the collaborators with over 20 years of dedication to the company; awards to those recognized by the campaign “Enaex Spirit” for our value: Our strength: innovation and entrepreneurship; as well as gifts and musical attraction, with the special participation of some collaborators.
One highlight was the session “Stronger Bonds”, in which we remembered some actions taken throughout 2021 that prove our commitment to strengthen the bonds with all those who surround us, whether they are customers, business partners, communities, or Enaex collaborators. The event was a success and it allowed us to strengthen our bonds. The most important part: we reaffirmed our main value: life.

ENAEX - COLLAHUASI EDUCATIONAL PROJECT CLOSES THE YEAR AND BEGINS INTERNSHIPS
After 4 months of courses and field work, senior students from Liceo Bicentenario Minero Juan Pablo II of Alto Hospicio finished their training as “Blasting Specialists”, to give way to another important stage.
After passing subjects such as Blasting Initiation Systems, Introduction to Explosives and Innovation Methodologies, the school selected 5 students who, in addition to having good attendance, will be part of a 10-week internship at the Enaex plant located in Collahuasi. At the end of this internship, the students will be evaluated again and those approved will be selected for a 6-month training period between March and October 2022 with the possibility of renewal for another 6 months.
It should be noted that this is the first time that Enaex will have intern students in the operation, as shot loaders, in plant operation.

LOCAL COMPANIES – INTERNSHIPS CONGRESS
In November 2021, the Héry Plant team had the privilege of participating in a congress with other local companies to talk about Generational Diversity and how it is a pillar for performance through the alternation of young interns.
During the event, the company was represented by 3 pairs of current mentors and interns. The Head of Human Resources Development, Emilie Bonfillou and her intern, Mélanie Beauchet shared their experience.

ENAEX BRAZIL IS RECOGNIZED BY ANGLO AMERICAN AS AN OUTSTANDING COMPANY IN TERMS OF SAFETY
In 2021, Enaex Brazil was recognized by the customer Anglo American as an outstanding company in terms of safety for the second consecutive year. The awarded companies were announced during the online event ‘Award Outstanding Suppliers 2021’, and Enaex Brazil was once again recognized as a first-class supplier in the Safety category.
The Evaluation process of the companies hired considers aspects related to general performance, optimization and sustainability of the technical and operational performance in several areas, such as Human Resources, Environment and Safety, among others.
This significant achievement reflects the daily commitment of our teams towards our main value: Life.

PRILLEX PLANT ASSURES COLLABORATION WITH ARTISANAL FISHERMEN BY 2022
Prillex Plant and the artisanal fishing sector of Mejillones recently signed a new contract to continue working together through 2022. It’s been five years since the beginning of this shared value project whose main objective is to support this important productive area of the commune.
Trust, respect, coordination and the desire to continue advancing have been the fundamental pillars for the success of this long-term initiative that has been implemented for the development of seamen and their families.
Enaex thanks the presidents of the four unions with whom we work in this area and each of their partners in the sector for the dedication, commitment and responsibility demonstrated during all this time to continue building together development and prosperity.
