We keep growing! Enaex acquired 100% of the Australian group MTI and 45% of the Portuguese company O-Pitblast
In January, Enaex completed the acquisition of 100% of the Australian group MIT, manufacturer and distributor of rock fragmentation products, and 45% of the Portuguese company O-Pitblast, specialized in software and digital mining products; two important milestones that will allow us to provide value to our customers and further strengthen our international presence.
MTI is an Australian company with more than 25 years of experience in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of accessories that optimize drilling and blasting processes in mining. It has close to 100 employees and 4 production centers in Australia, China, the US and Africa.
In this regard, our CEO Juan Andrés Errázuriz highlighted that “the acquisition of the MTI group is consistent with our strategic plan to continue strengthening the international presence in the most relevant mining regions in the world and continue delivering an excellent service to our clients.”
In addition to this great news, the purchase of 45% of O-Pitblast, a Portuguese subsidiary of FORCIT Group, specialized in software and digital mining products, was also announced during the month.
“This integration will allow us to capture important synergies in the Drill&Blast process and continue providing value to our clients,” said Pablo Wallach, VP of Innovation and Marketing at Enaex.
Both operations are consistent with Enaex’s objective of providing its clients with a comprehensive and excellent service, contributing to the development of the mining industry and becoming the preferred blasting partner of mining companies worldwide. We keep growing!

We exceeded 50,000 global recognitions on our Enaex platform during 2022!
This 2022 we launched a new global recognition platform for all of Enaex´s employees, which on December 31 reached a record of 51,414 recognitions, surpassing all our previous numbers.
Thanks to the commitment of each one of you, we were able to overcome the #50KChallenge, the challenge that sought to reach 50,000 recognitions before the start of 2023.
With this, we managed to show that when it comes to thanking, we are always the best.

South Africa
Enaex África awarded its star collaborators at a gala dinner
In order to celebrate an excellent year for the company and the workers who made it possible, several Enaex África collaborators were invited to a gala dinner where they were awarded for their performance.
The evening was inaugurated by the General Manager of Enaex Africa, Francisco Baudrand, who summarized the most outstanding and significant milestones of the year 2022, such as the extension of many agreements with clients, including UMK, and the successful conclusion of the Tharisa Mines contract.
“By listening to the needs of our customers, we have shown that we are more than just an explosives company and that we can add value through our tailored solutions and global pool of knowledge,” he said.
After Francisco’s presentation, it was time for the true purpose of the evening: to recognize the excellence, professionalism and service of the collaborators that allowed us to have this year full of success.
“It’s fantastic that we can honor our colleagues in this way and see how so many are living our values throughout the company,” added Precious Maluleke, People and IC Director at Enaex Africa.
Francisco’s final message to everyone was: “Turn difficult situations into great lessons, dream big and live with purpose.”

Enaex Brasil is featured in Brazilian awards
Enaex Brasil was recognized as one of the 300 best companies in Brazil, according to Época Negócios magazine.
The survey, which is carried out in partnership with Fundação Dom Cabral, evaluated Brazilian companies as to six dimensions: Financial Performance, Corporate Governance, Innovation, Future Perspectives, People Management, and Sustainability.
In the 2022 ranking, we occupy the 152nd position among 420 participating companies. In the Chemical and Petrochemical Sector ranking, we ranked 7th, with emphasis on the following dimensions: 2nd place in Corporate Governance and 3rd place in Future Perspectives.

Enaex Brasil Service Plant achieves 3,000 days with no accidents
In October 2022, the Service Plant “Vale S11D” celebrated the milestone of 3,000 days with no accidents requiring work-related leaves, totaling 8 years of dedication, commitment, and care towards all collaborators, in their daily work.
This significant achievement reinforces to what extent a safe environment contributes to the creation of stronger bonds with the well-being and health of all teams.

Luciano López, VP of Services, was appointed director of APRIMIN for the period 2023-2024
During the XIX Annual Assembly of the Association of Industrial Mining Suppliers (APRIMIN ), the member companies met to elect 4 new members of the Board of Directors for the 2023-2024 period, among which the VP of Enaex Servicios stands out. , Luciano Lopez Cordero.
Luciano López was elected together with Roberto Lecaros from ME Elecmeta, Evelyn Galaz from Deloitte and Ari Bermanne from CIS – Aramark, through a secure and innovative online voting system and in accordance with the Aprimin statutes.
The activity was headed by the president of Aprimin, Philippe Hemmerdinger, who highlighted the election of the 4 new elected directors, wishing them an active and successful management in service of the Association.
CHILE
Enaex reinforced the 'Stronger Bonds' with clients during an event held in the Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve
Demonstrating that Our Vocation is Customers, at the end of December Enaex participated in a face-to-face event focused on Innovation and Sustainability with customers from Chile and Peru.
The instance was held in a unique place such as the Huilo-Huilo Biological Reserve, in the Los Ríos Region, Chile. In the middle of the Patagonian jungle, we were inspired to continue with our work of humanizing mining and strengthening ties with our clients.
We thank everyone who accompanied us in this instance, which allowed us to meet again and set our sights on the upcoming challenges.

Enaex France celebrated its collaborators in its first Recognition Ceremony
On December, 45 employees were recognized by a jury for their commitment to the values that characterize ENAEX.
At the ceremony, each collaborator received a gift from the Board of Directors in the presence of all the leaders, in addition to enjoying a pleasant afternoon with coffee, cakes and camaraderie.

Mayor of Héry participated in a ceremony that highlighted the long history of 42 collaborators
A group of 42 employees met with the leaders of Enaex Davey Bickford France to receive recognition for his long commitment and long history with the company.
This official ceremony, which took place on December 13, 2022 in the presence of our directors, managers, social partners, had the outstanding presence of the Mayor of Héry, who shared with those recognized in a pleasant cocktail.
Peru
Open Doors: Enaex Peru received university students at the Végueta Plant
Continuing with its Open Doors program, Enaex Peru received in January a group of students from the Faculty of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering, José Faustino Sánchez Carrión National University (HUACHO), who made a technical visit to our Végueta Plant.
The university students were able to get to know the plant’s facilities and the great professionals who keep it running, as well as ask questions and learn about its processes.
This program makes it possible to generate Stronger Ties with future professionals by getting to know our Organizational Culture up close.
Peru
Enaex Peru donated 200 coloring books to the community of the Medio Mundo District
As part of the start of their Corporate Social Responsibility activities, Enaex Peru managed the donation of 200 copies of coloring books to the school community of the Medio Mundo District, close to our Végueta Plant.
The delivery of this material was made in coordination with the Red de Guardianes de los Humedales (Wetlands Guardians Network), which protects this rich environmental area close to our facilities.
