In its commitment to the environment, Davey Bickford Enaex has announced the start of construction work on a photovoltaic plant in the vicinity of its facilities. This new project seeks to reduce the company’s environmental impact and improve its energy efficiency.
The plant will have 1000 solar panels installed on the ground, covering an area of 3700 m² on a platform of 5300 m². The energy generated will be connected directly to the company’s internal network by means of a step-up transformer, thus allowing it to be used throughout the plant.
The plant is expected to produce 524 MWh per year, which will represent 11% of the company’s total consumption. In order to complete the final electrical connection work, it will be necessary to carry out a total power cut in the facilities.
According to the project schedule, the photovoltaic plant will be fully operational after the return from the 2025 European summer vacation.
