ENAEX PRESENTS THE FIRST FLEET OF 4×4 ELECTRIC VANS

Enaex presented its first fleet of 4×4 electric trucks incorporated thanks to a strategic partnership with Glandleasing. This milestone, which took place for the first time in Chile, reinforces the company’s commitment to reduce the environmental impact of its operations, promoting the use of more sustainable technologies in its vehicle fleet.

These 10 new 100% electric trucks will allow Enaex to reduce its CO2 emissions, contributing to a more responsible mining with the environment and the surrounding communities. The event was attended by Stefano Delucchi, Enaex Supply Manager and Yung Liang Hu, Enaex Contracts Engineer.

At the event, an alliance was signed that will allow Enaex to receive an economic benefit for each ton of CO2 that its new fleet stops emitting. “Another great benefit with the new R7 4×4 100% electric fleet via Voltera is that it will be able to access in an unprecedented way to an international program that rewards economically those who use electric vehicles. ZeroCa and Voltera signed an alliance last year that will allow us to market the CO2 reduction to Switzerland, obtaining not only an environmental benefit, but also an economic one,” said Aníbal Carracedo, Commercial Manager of Grandleasing.

ENAEX ARGENTINA CARRIED OUT ITS FIRST BLASTING WITH NATIONAL CASED EXPLOSIVES

In February, Enaex Argentina carried out a clearing in the VialAgro quarry, in Azul, Buenos Aires. It was detected that 35% of the shafts (37) were interconnected, which could generate explosive leakage and loss of efficiency. In addition, some pits required reducing the load factor for safety reasons.

To solve this problem, cartridge explosives were used, the first ones manufactured in Argentina by Enaex. The blasting, of 2.6 tons, was a success, achieving safety, excellent fragmentation and displacement.

This advance reinforces Enaex’s commitment to safety, efficiency and innovation in the explosives and blasting industry.
