Enaex strengthens its international expansion with a strategic Joint Venture in India
Enaex announced the signing of a Joint Venture with N.A.N. Partners, the Family Office of Navin Agarwal (co-founder of Vedanta), an agreement that marks a new milestone in its internationalization process and reinforces its presence in the world’s leading mining regions.
The alliance, signed by the CEOs of both companies following a process that began in 2025, combines Enaex’s experience, technology, and operational and safety standards with N.A.N. Partners’ deep knowledge of the local market and network of industry relationships.
In a first stage, the Joint Venture will focus its operations in northeastern India, one of the country’s most active mining regions, particularly in iron ore extraction. Enaex will play an active role in managing the business, contributing its technical capabilities and international experience.
This agreement represents a significant step forward in the company’s sustainable growth strategy, consolidating its presence in key markets for the future of mining. Currently, 64% of Enaex’s revenue comes from operations outside Chile, reflecting the strength of this expansion process.

Environment Month: "One global commitment. Countless local actions"
During Environment Month, teams across the company turned Enaex’s purpose into concrete actions through initiatives developed in different countries, promoting the circular economy, environmental education and awareness, responsible resource management, and stronger ties with the communities where it operates. Each action, adapted to the local context, reflected a shared commitment to advancing toward more sustainable mining.
This commitment is also reflected in global performance. In 2025, 95% of Enaex’s global energy consumption came from renewable sources, reaching the highest level in the company’s history. Likewise, 52% of the waste generated by operations was recycled, showing the continued strengthening of circular economy practices and environmental management.
Enaex thanks and recognizes all the teams whose daily commitment makes these achievements possible and who continue turning its purpose into actions that help humanize mining and build a more sustainable future.

Major Contract in Western Australia
Enaex Australia has secured the explosives and blasting services contract with Mineral Resources (a Tier 1 mining company) for the Mt Marion and Bald Hill lithium operations, marking an important milestone in our Western Australian growth strategy and establishing a new partnership.
The contract covers bulk explosives, initiating systems, DTH blasting services, and underground explosives and blasting services at the Mt Marion underground mine. Together, the sites are expected to consume more than 30,000 tonnes of bulk explosives and 130,000 detonators annually.
The focus now turns to executing a safe and successful mobilisation. Enaex Australia looks forward to delivering value, and building a long-term partnership with Mineral Resources, and further strengthening its presence in Western Australia.

Enaex wins first place in the DecarbMine 2026 Challenge
More than 60 solutions from 11 countries took part in the DecarbMine 2026 Challenge, an initiative led by Corporación Alta Ley and Fundación Chile’s Expande program to accelerate the development of solutions that help decarbonize the mining industry. After an evaluation process that included a Demo Day and a Technology Fair, Enaex took first place thanks to its portfolio of explosives solutions, which cut carbon footprint by 40% to as much as 100% compared with traditional alternatives.
The proposal was led by Francisco Pizarro, Project Manager in the Innovation and Marketing Vice-Presidency, who represented Enaex throughout the challenge. The recognition is the result of collaborative work by the Prillex and Cachimayo Production teams, Corporate Supply, Commercial Chile, Corporate Sustainability, Chemicals Sustainability, and the Innovation and Marketing Vice-Presidency.
The contribution of Claudio Yévenes, Jesús Sullca, and Francisco Portilla, who helped develop and implement the proposal, was also key.
This recognition reaffirms Enaex’s commitment to innovation and to developing solutions that create value for its clients and contribute to increasingly sustainable mining.

The Best Blast Award recognizes the excellence of Enaex Brazil's clients and teams
Enaex Brazil celebrates a new edition of the Best Blast Award, an initiative that reinforces the company’s commitment to recognizing technical excellence, innovation, and the dedication of the teams that are part of this journey, while also valuing the collaborative relationship built with its clients.
Each year, the award highlights the best blasting results in the following categories: Open-Pit Mining, Underground Mining, Cement, Aggregates, and Civil Construction. The ceremony also recognized Enaex Brazil teams that stood out in pillars essential to the company’s operations, such as Safety, Innovation, Environment, and Women in Mining.
“The Best Blast Award recognizes teams that share knowledge, overcome challenges, and pursue excellence. Customer Technical Forum 2026: a space for strategic and technological exchange
Enaex Argentina’s first Customer Technical Forum brought together specialists from Enaex Brazil, Chile, and Argentina alongside representatives from major mining and cement companies, with the aim of sharing success stories, trends, and innovations in drilling and blasting.
Three success stories were presented: blast engineering for flyrock mitigation, Mine to Mill, and Plasma4th® technology. More than 45 clients attended, representing Newmont, Minera Santa Cruz, Lindero, Loma Negra, Cementos Avellaneda, Pan American Silver, and Patagonia Gold, who actively took part in the exchange of experiences and best practices.
In addition to the technical presentations, the forum created networking opportunities that strengthened the relationship between clients, specialists, and Enaex teams, helping to identify new opportunities for collaboration and establishing Enaex as a strategic partner in innovation applied to mining.

Leadership in mining innovation at CONAMIN 2026
At the 2026 National Mining Congress (CONAMIN), held in Trujillo, Enaex Peru had a strong presence through a technical presentation by Marilia Córdova, an EMTS Peru team member, on an innovative methodology for assessing post-blast fragmentation.
The research showed how integrating advanced technologies — drone flights, three-dimensional modeling, and artificial intelligence — can transform traditional fragmentation assessment processes, replacing subjective methods with greater risk exposure with a more accurate, safer methodology that better represents actual conditions at the mining face.
Thanks to drone image capture and its processing into 3D models, complemented by automated AI-based particle size analysis, it was possible to identify variations in fragmentation, optimize blast quality control, and strengthen decision-making throughout the mine-to-plant cycle. One of the key benefits was a significant reduction in personnel exposure to post-blast risk areas.

Optimizing blasting at the 17th Opex Workshop
Enaex Brazil took part in the 2026 Opex Workshop in Belo Horizonte. Specialists Thaís Costa Silva and Eduardo Ribeiro, together with professionals from Nexa Resources and Votorantim Cimentos, gave a presentation on optimizing blasting services.
The talks emphasized the integration of blast engineering, technology, and a 360° approach to reduce costs and increase productivity in both open-pit and underground operations.

Operational optimization and environmental milestone at the Bajool Plant
As part of the Australia Master Plan 2026, work is underway to install a heated mulsifier tank and transfer system at the Bajool ANE Plant located 35km south Rockhampton in Queensland.
Benefits include eliminating emulsifier IBC waste, reducing forklift movements, lowering the risk of leaks and reducing the need for combustible storage and plug-in heating blankets.
The project is expected to deliver annual savings of around $144,000 while improving safety and efficiency on site. Installation is currently planned for September 2026, subject to final supplier agreements.

Secunda Achieves Five Years Lost Work Day Case Free
Safety is more than a value at Enaex Africa – it is the foundation of everything the company does. On 15 March 2026, the Secunda Operations proudly reached an exceptional milestone of five consecutive years without a Lost Work Day Case (LWDC), marking an outstanding achievement after 1,843,136 hours worked safely. The previous record in all the years of operating Secunda plant, prior to Enaex’s acquisition, was only three years.
To celebrate this remarkable accomplishment, the Secunda team came together for a celebratory braai. The event was hosted by John Schulze, who acknowledged the dedication, teamwork and unwavering commitment of every employee and service provider whose collective efforts made this outstanding safety milestone possible.
This achievement is even more significant considering the site’s growth over the past five years. During this period, Secunda successfully delivered major projects while maintaining uninterrupted production to meet customer demand. These included the 2021 Bulk Plant capacity expansion, the 2022 commissioning of the first manual DaveyTronic assembly plant outside France, the 2023 construction of a 5,300-tonne AN Prill Store, the expansion of Emex to a 24/7 four-shift operation, and the 2025 refurbishment and commissioning of the 300D Plant, the largest project undertaken at the facility since Enaex Africa’s inception.
Throughout these projects, operations continued safely and efficiently through the collaboration of Enaex employees and service providers.
Congratulations to the Secunda team for this exceptional achievement and for continuing to set the benchmark for safe, sustainable operations across Enaex Africa.

Rollout of the "Let’s Make a Deal" campaign at the Héry Plant
As part of the global safety campaign “Let’s Make a Deal: I’ve got you, you’ve got me, together we stay safe” the Héry plant in France rolled out a series of initiatives to strengthen safety awareness and shared responsibility on site.
The campaign included new visual signage throughout the plant, as well as team-building workshops in every department, inviting employees to reflect on the importance of taking care of one another and keeping safety at the center of every task.
In addition, safety reflection cards were introduced for use at the start of meetings, encouraging meaningful conversations and reinforcing Enaex’s commitment to making safety a daily habit and a shared value.

The "Safety World Cup": on the CNR project
The Operations team on the CNR project, together with HSEQ, developed the “Safety World Cup”: drawing on the passion soccer inspires, workers took part in an activity in which, upon receiving the ball, they identified a hazard specific to their job, explained the risk, its possible consequences, and the controls they apply every day to work safely.
This was a space to share experiences, learn from colleagues, and recognize each worker’s commitment to protecting their own life, their team’s, and the continuity of operations. The initiative also highlighted the close leadership of supervisors and team leads, who consistently support their teams by encouraging open conversations about safety.
Because when it comes to safety, everyone is on the same team: every safe decision is a goal scored for life.

Strengthening inclusion through awareness talks on disability and neurodiversity
As part of the commitment to building more inclusive workplaces, between March and July awareness talks on disability, neurodiversity, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) were held at various Enaex offices, plants, and sites, aiming to provide tools and promote greater understanding of human diversity.
So far, 14 talks have been held, reaching 257 employees at the Spence Plant, Río Loa Plant, Los Pelambres Plant, Chuquicamata Rajo Plant, and the Santiago Office (VP of Finance and VP of People & Sustainability). The initiative will soon expand to the Prillex Plant, with 6 talks scheduled.

Inspiring future generations at Careers Day 2026
On 6 and 7 July 2026, Enaex Africa hosted its Careers Day at the Digital Dome, Wits University, inspiring learners to explore the many career opportunities available within the mining and explosives industry.
The event was officially welcomed by People & Sustainability Director, Phumzile Buthelezi, who encouraged learners to embrace every opportunity to learn, grow and invest in their futures.
Day 1 welcomed Grades 10–12, while Day 2 focused on Grade 9 learners, helping them understand how the subject choices they make today can shape tomorrow’s career opportunities.
The two-day programme featured presentations on university, university of technology and FET college entry requirements, psychometric assessments, mental wellness, and an inspiring graduate success story. Learners also enjoyed a mock mining tour and visited exhibition stands from educational institutions and industry partners.
A highlight of the event was hearing from Enaex Africa employees across various departments, including Mining, Sales, Chemical Plants, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Technology & Innovation. Each speaker shared their personal career journey, what they studied, and the different pathways that led them to their current roles, demonstrating that success is built through passion, perseverance and continuous learning.

Over 300 visitors at the Héry Plant Open Day
On June 6, the Héry plant in France opened its doors to employees’ families and the local community, welcoming more than 300 visitors for a day dedicated to connection, learning, and discovery. The event showcased Enaex’s operations through guided tours, presentations, and interactive activities led by employees from different areas of the site.

Promoting health and physical wellbeing with the GymRats app
At Enaex Colombia, July began with a clear purpose: to strengthen physical wellbeing and keep building habits that support a healthier life. More and more employees are joining this initiative, using the GymRats app to share the steps they take to look after their health, both at work and in their free time.
Eating a balanced diet, staying hydrated, taking active breaks, and exercising are some of the initiatives teams have shared, showing that self-care is built through small, consistent actions.
